In addition to housing a variety of corporate headquarters, Winston-Salem is heavily invested in the arts. In fact, the Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County was the first locally established arts council in the country, and holds several annual events, including a Summer Park Series and a public outdoor art project.
